EA and 38 Studios eventually dismantle their games a secret project that has been called "Project Mercury". Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning, as the official title of the game. Big Huge Games, one game studios under the auspices of 38 Studios, won the trust of the EA and 38 Studios to work on this new RPG project.
Amalur is a fantasy world created by Robert Anthony Salvatore, author of novels, known by many of his works, among others, Forgotten Realms and Star Wars: The New So Order. Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning raising adventure story that happened in Amalur. In this game, players will explore Amalur world full of exotic cities, colorful characters, and also terrifying creatures that inhabit Amalur.
In addition to Salvatore, to produce quality games, Big Huge Games already employs some pretty famous names in world RPG. Todd McFarlane, creator of Spawn characters, specifically recruited to prepare the visual design of this game. Also, Ken Rolston, lead designer of the famous RPG game Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind and Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, is believed to lead the project of this game. Look at all that EA and 38 studios do not mess with this game project.
According to the plan, games Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning will be released for 3 major platforms: PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.
