Tribes Universe MMO Shooter
Tribes Universe is an upcoming massively multiplayer online shooter developed by Hi-Rez Studios based on the Tribes series. The game, along with Hi-Rez Studios' Tribes IP acquisition from InstantAction, was first announced on October 23, 2010. Alpha testing is said to begin at the start of 2011, with level 50 Global Agenda players getting priority in both Alpha and Beta tests. Users can sign-up to be part of the Alpha at tribesuniverse.com.
The gameplay of Tribes Universe will focus on player versus player (PvP) combat, while the combat itself will take place on large, open maps with support for more than a hundred players fighting at a time. There will also be a large, persistent world where players fight for territory control. The game will consist of just three different tribes, and is primarily a first-person shooter with third-person view being an option in some vehicles. Both ground and air vehicles will be featured, along with full clan support. Tribes Universe will also include key signature aspects from previous games in the series, such as skiing and jetpacks. Hi-Rez Studios Vice President Stew Chisam has also confirmed that the Spinfusor(aka disclauncher) will be making a return.

In the event PAX Prime, Red 5 Studios announced a team-based shooter game, Firefall, which was created by Mark Kern, who led the development of the game World of Warcraft at Blizzard along with Scott Youngblood, the former lead designer of the Tribes.
Although not explained whether this game is an online game or not in the press release, but did say that Firefall will bring together hundreds of players at once into a world of open-world that combines a dynamic and competitive multiplayer games are tense and a large scale. Firefall will use the settings on Earth, exactly 200 years in the future, where humans are still alive now were fighting against a race called The Chosen.
"When I founded Red 5, I knew that I wanted to make something different than what I've previously made," said Kern, who also acted as CEO and chief creative officer of Red 5. "I want to use as possible of what I've learned from making the online game and bring it all into a shooter game."
Red 5 is said to be using a system of free games and micro-transaction model for this Firefall, which allows gamers to feel alone all the details of a world filled with conflict without having to pay a penny. But in addition, they still offer a variety of premium items for players who intend to develop their character to become stronger again.
Firefall is planned to be released around the end of 2011.

There are 2 organizations that can be selected by the players of UNITE (The United Nations Intelligence and Tactical Experts) and Paragon (The Paramilitary Global Operations Network).
U.N.I.T.E. is the most powerful group of agents worldwide. They are the front line of battle against terrorism, corruption and colonial countries worldwide. The agents U.N.I.T.E. is a specialist in problem spy and stealth. While Paragon is the largest organization in the world in which consists of a collection of mercenaries who serve clients from good to bad though. Paragon soldier soldier is more frontal type and like to do battle in the open.
The Agency itself offers many interesting features, namely:
Become an Elite Agent, The Agency offers hundreds more unique missions that require capabilities and combat, stealth and style. Its own gameplay varies from silent type battles (stealth) and the type of fight openly.

Black Ops is a first-person shooter. The online multiplayer mode of Black Ops retains the experience points and unlockable reward system that has been kept since Call of Duty 4. The game's multiplayer focuses on socialization and customization.
