Metal Gear Solid: Rising is a new game from the Metal Gear franchise. In this game, you will play as Raiden and here, you will be introduced with a new concept where you can cut almost all the objects in the game using weapons katana mainstay Raiden. In the event Gamescom 2010, Konami explained the reason why Rising was developed with the goal to be played by more and more gamers are not just limited to those who have followed this Metal Gear franchise.




It should be recognized that the Metal Gear franchise has been known for a complex storyline and the story that managed to lure and attract the attention of gamers, hardcore gamers are there. Now, with this Rising, Konami is hoping to bring even more gamers to play the game. Of course that does not mean this game will be played by everyone in the world. Konami main goal here is just trying to attract interest from gamers who previously always shy away from these Metal Gear games.
So how do these game developers try it? One way they do is to create mechanisms for this game becomes easier to understand. Here, you will still find a lot of stealth elements, but to issue the action or actions from Raiden, all that was changed in such a way into a game with a much faster tempo than usual. The use of stealth elements of Raiden is certainly different to that done by Snake. If Snake is usually always wait for the enemy to get past him, then Raiden would be more likely to move quickly without being noticed by the enemy and sneak behind the enemy. The new element is intended for new gamers.




Producer of the Rising always say that so far, the team that developed the game always comes up with many interesting ideas and it was always denied directly by him who said that the new idea is a bit complicated.
Metal Gear Solid 4 for example, has about a half hour and five hours of game time cutscene. The fans of this game would have really liked that one element, but for those who do not follow the adventures of Solid Snake all along, certainly will have difficulty explore stories that are given and finally chose to not play that game forever. For that reason, Rising did not have too much cutscene, unlike Metal Gear Solid 4. Of course in this game, you will still find a good storyline with interesting cutscene, but the exact amount has been reduced and instead is a model of the game that his action more
